I like to invite the viewer to recognise and embrace
the familiar whilst evoking a personal response to
the unfamiliar..to fill in the gaps..whether they be
visual or otherwise. What we perceive to be real
becomes real.
My work is informed by the surrealists, illusionists
and also the impressionists and I enjoy creating art
that gives space for speculation, humour and
emotion.
I enjoy working on a wide range of art projects in
the local community along with continuing to
develop my personal work.
